After a lovely morning at the beach we had 'octopus' hot dogs for lunch and, boy, does Mac love his Mumma for this one.Awhile back I saw this gadget online and thought it was a must have for my kids. Well, a knife does the trick just as well, to slice these 'legs' before cooking to get the octopus effect. Not to say I may not get the gadget one day, I do LOVE kitchen gadgets!

That is AWESOME! I despise wieners (they are so gross) but this might make them a bit more bearable to deal with. And the boys would go crazy for it! They love plain old wieners, so the "Octo-dog" would be a huge hit, I'm sure...
Too bad my kids feel the same way about wieners as their Auntie Erin, because those look like fun!
