It was a Messy Art Party! No party clothes, only old grubbies allowed. There was painting, there was yo-yo painting (Mac's fave as he did this for about 40 minutes straight), goop, playdough, chalk, you name it, we had it.
Then for lunch a pasta bar, three kinds of sauce, four types of pasta, garlic bread, french bread. And for dessert, no cake here. Decorate your own cupcakes, with a choice of carrot (as requested by the birthday boy) or chocolate. Sparklers for everyone and a candle for the birthday boy.
All a mess, but well worth the fun! The art was a hit with all the kids, even Lucy Lu.
I know, I know what your thinking, Mac's birthday isn't yet, but as we are headed to Victoria for a week, for the start of some holiday season fun, we had to do our party before we left.
