The big hunt at Porpoise Bay

Mumma trying to convince Lucy to share a bite of her egg, and nope into HER mouth it goes!

That really is a look of excited anticipation on Mac's face as he wits for the hunt to begin.

Lucy finding her first Cadbury's egg (Nanny would be proud), trying to unpeel it, as Mac eyes a shimmering egg just to the right of her feet.

There is a big Easter hunt for kids at the provincial park here put on by the Lions Club and we have made it a tradition to attend. It's great, outdoors, by the beach, a swarm of kids and it's done in about 15 minutes, perfect for this age group. Basically they separate the kids by age (5 and under in one area and 6-12 in another), they areas are roped off and with a countdown they drop the ropes and let the kids at it. It's great and the kids are so excited! (and they get to run off a bit of the chocolate they have been eating all morning!)
