It was McHappy Day with all the proceeds raised going to a local accessible park and guess whose son (and brother) was the poster child, that's right, ours!
It is a great local park that we frequent, so we were glad to be asked to help raise funds and to also help with the advertising. McHappy Day was success, as we and a gazillion of our friends and RCMP members, headed there for lunch and to support the cause. Still waiting to hear what the total raised was, but the owner of the local McDonald's did agree to give the park their goal $ amount, even if it wasn't reached in sales. And to help support building another accessible park on the Coast.
