It was all mermaids, all the time. Lucy was very clear about what she wanted for her birthday. A cake that goes this way, not this way (imagine her using her hands to show me vertical, NOT horizontal). Mermaids, the ocean, princess crowns, you name it, it was on her list, what am I getting into, she's ONLY 3!
Anyway, Mumma did the best job she could, and I never even imagined she'd be as excited as she was, she is still talking about it, reminiscing and excited. It was well worth the effort. Thanks to G for the wonderful mermaid outfit and for coming to party it up with us!
