The Armstrongs come to call

Erin (my maid of honour at the wedding), Heath, the girls (Alyssa, Samantha and Thalia) and us had a great visit.

We went out to Skookumchuk Rapids (although not the right time for rapids!) for a hike, walks at the beach and lots of attention from three beautiful girls for Mac. It was wonderful to have the company and get to know Erin's new family. (Erin & Heath are getting married July 22nd!)

The girls got a workover from the local RCMP. Spencer showed up one afternoon in uniform, handcuffed them all and took them all for a ride in his cruiser, lights and sirens flashing and the girls say driving over 140 km an hour, S says 80 or 90 km, we'll never know...

Spencer took them and Heath to the station . They were fingerprinted, thrown in a cell, and given the grand tour. A memorable time for all them, I think.

Heath helped dig up the last of my gardens, in the rain!!!, so one less thing to do, thank goodness. So much work to do in the yard!!!! That Erin is getting one good guy!

They left early this Monday morning and headed home Powell River way, a beautiful ferry ride, to hopefully avoid long weekend ferry waits and some traffic. And if you know Erin, she'd also like to hit some markets on the way back home.

A wonderful time was had by all and, once again, we appreciated the company.
