Birthday Brekkie

At breakfast.

September 20th was Spencer's birthday.

We were lucky to have Gran and Pops here to visit for a few days and to celebrate with us. Uncle Wayne and Gabe also came for the cake, or rather I should say pie! (Pumpkin Pie is S's favourite, so always his birthday request.)

The day started out with breakfast at the Gumboot (anyone who has visited us knows this is simply the best place to go out for brekkie!) , followed by a lovely afternoon of family, a court appearance for Spencer and a group effort for dinner, including pyrohy (perogies), holubtsi (cabbage rolls), nachynka (cornmeal pudding), pumpkin pie, Sicilian cannolis, and Italian bread,

quite the feast!

Spencer had a wonderful day, and sure got all his carbs in before his big ride!
